1. Physical Sciences:  

a. andling of following measuring instruments.

2. Determination of the specific gravity of a solid

                                      - Heavier than water.

                                      - Lighter than water

                          And a liquid by (a) Nicholson’s hydrometer, (b) Hydrostatic balance.

3. Determination of the specific gravity of a liquid by specific gravity bottle, and Hairs apparatus.

4. Verification of the law of limiting fraction.
5. Verification of the law of length of simple pendulum and hence finding out the acceleration due to gravity.

6. Verification of the laws of reflection by pin method and hence finding out the position of the image formed.

7. Verification of the laws of refraction by pin method and hence finding out the position of the image formed.

8. Plotting of the I-D curve and determination of the refractive index of material of the prism.

9. Determination of the angle of minimum deviation and hence determine the refractive index of the material of the prism.

10. Determination of the poles of a bar magnet.
11. Tracing of lines of force due to a bar magnet placed in the magnetic meridian. (North pole pointing North and North pole pointing south).

15. Verification of Ohm’s law and determination of the resistance of a coil.
